weekly blog nov 16-20

-growing up in southern california it would be a sin to root for ucla, well to my family because there is usc. I remember watching this play unfold at the usc coliseum and see how reggie bush changed the college game forever. 2005-2006 year with the show down between usc and texas was the last true college football champion, ever since there have been to much controvercy over who is better.
-the coliseum is too old. hands down. but it is a great place to be and to see a classic moment unfold. the building is so ancient but has such a great history, the olympics, first superbowl, usc, la raiders, so many teams and so many people have played on that feild.
-the view on the field is amazing, by far the best grass i have ever been on. it is a beautiful place to play and very intimidating to see as an opposing team

weekly blog Nov 9-13

-The first picture is of downtown San Diego and when you fly into sd you fly right through downtown. It is one hell of a sight. im from that area and its very pretty but showing the airplane flying through downtown its not like nyc where 9/11 destroyed us, but its like your flying into paradise and youre landing in the center of it....and next to a US Marines recruiting depot.
-the landscape of san diego is breathe taking. I already know i am going to live there and can not wait. The beaches are so beautiful and the houses are so stunning. i love sd and cant wait to be back
-lastly the girl surfing is what i do in my free time. surfing is a common thing down in sd and the girls are gorgeous, just like this one :D

weekly blog nov 2-6

-right here are military personel in afghanistan. every detail of the photo is really amazing. The combat photo captures feeling that i cannot explain. It gives us a glimps of what men do under fire.
-this photo is a us marine just barley escaping the clutches of death. This photo captures this moment of terror and makes you imagine what if the bullet was one inch higher? this photo is down right scary, and amazing.
-afghanistan is not a country of amazing buildings but this shot with the .50 caliber pointing at this village shows how dangerous this place is, but shows peacful it can be without the evil runnig around in it.

Journal of Oct26-31

-Siberia has been a place of mystery for me and many other people. Like Alaska it is like a last frontier to explore, so this picture of this waterfall fascinates me because i doon't know what else it out there. It is such a huge region that there could be so many beautiful lnadscapes to see.
-The old run down church moves me that Siberia is a place very hard to conquer or live in, and that a lot of people would not rather live there. It is a very wild place and i want to see it all.
-The drawings come from Siberian tribesmen and reminds me that the natives crossed over into the Americas and that they are directly related to eachother in that way, even ancient man did not want to live there in Siberia.

Weekly Post 19-23

-Ancient Egypt has fncinated me since i was a child. Muumies always freaked me out since the release of The Mummy in 1998. King Tut is one of the most famour pharohs and this picture shows the glory of Egypt in its prime.
-The Pyramids are Egypts most famous buildins. they are the last surviving 7 wonders of the world. This picture is very cool how the sun reveals the shadows of the mountainous buildings. the flat landscape and then three giant objects coming out of the gound is really cool to look at.
-The Sahara deserts fascinates me. I actually want to go there and walk about, even throught the extreme heat. The lone palm tree shows the bareness of this place and the smooth sands dunes show that it seems to be a peaceful place...some how but in reality is one of the worst places to be.

-The coconut was a sweet picture cause i love cocnuts and love the beach and to show the milky inside and the beach in the background was really cool.
-I love the islands and love the beach and i can picture myself in this photo just laying down is slepping for hours. this picture helps me picture (no pun intended) relax and be able to myself there.
-I love island huts and i always wanted to go to bora-bora and stay in one of the huts. the scenery is so beautiful i could live there forever. how the water is under the hut like that but super shallow reallt defines the photo because its like your floating but your can still stand in the water

-The picture of big ben at night was really interesting. I love England and that building. it shows how powerful that country used to be and is today and how much influence it had on the world.
-The english country side is a one of a kind. it is beautiful and ancient. the wall tha seems to have been built during the Hadrians rule of the roman empire. this photo shows how old this country is compared to ours.
-the english telephone booth is a world famous icom of england and as a kid i always loved the booth and always wanted one.

Weekly post September 28-October 2

-Roman Coliseum was one of the grandest arenas of the ancient world. But now its only part of what it used to be. the way the light comes our of it brings it life again is some way; it shows its beauty of the building once again, not as a ruin but as architecture art.
-The Five standing pillars and other broken pillars remind me of what used to be there. It is crazy to think that this was the most dominant civilization in the world and happend about 2,000 years ago. The pictures reminds me of the ruins that scatter Europe and esp Italy and Greece and how they were they super powers of this world.
-Tuscany is one of the most beautiful places to be. This landscape is so beautiful and not adding it to my blog would be an insult. The beauty of the photo does justice to the area, its a place i would want to live in and is modeled by many homes back in orange county

September 21-25 Journal

This is a castle in France that fasinated me as a child. How the water rose around it making it almost impossible to take untile the water level goes down.

The picture with the boots with crampons on them is a really cool angle, showing how deadly theses things can be but are really your best friend while climbing.
Mt Everest is always in my mind. I was trying to become the youngest to complete the 7 summits and i was supposed to summit Everest the sring semester of my senior year. But football got in the way and ill have to go back after. But its always bugging me that i did not take the chance to break a world record.

This is another rhythm photo. Its a clustered rhythm where there is one but its all bunched up together.
This is a rhythm model. the rhythm here is all the white strands connecting to each other.
This is my melody photo. The strands of white coming out of the darkness really comes out to me.
The structure again just with an interesting pot in the background. It brings out weird elements out to me and i thought it was cool.
